An interactive simulator of a fish farm — growth, temperature, disease pressure and
harvest timing on one side, feed cost, mortality and margin on the other. Built to make the
economics of fish health explorable rather than asserted.
The simulator opens here in autumn 2026
What it will do
Change what a farm does — stocking, feeding, harvest window, an intervention —
and watch the biological and financial consequence at once.
Compare high, medium and low intensity farm archetypes on the same model.
Put a number on health interventions: what a reduction in disease burden is
actually worth per cycle.
Every output traceable to an assumption you can see and change.
What it is not
Not a real-time operational digital twin.
Not a validated management tool for commercial use without expert support.
Not a substitute for on-farm calibration and hands-on consultancy.
It is a transparent demonstration of model logic. It should raise as many questions
as it answers.
